LeFevre Primary will be in great hands.Īt the end of each term, two students from each class are nominated by their teacher to receive the Principal’s Outstanding Achievement Award. Once again, I wish Bob every success in his new role and have no doubt that his new community will be thrilled to have him as their Principal and I look forward to working with him in our Partnership. At this point in time, we will be seeking someone temporarily, with the intention of advertising it later in the year for the longer term. There is no doubt that these are big shoes to fill but we will endeavour to find a quality person. Bob has been working with me for 7 ½ years and has had a huge influence in raising the profile of the school and providing a quality education for our students.Ī Principal is only as good as their leadership team and I have been very fortunate to have a Deputy the calibre of Bob to work alongside. He has put a lot of work in over many years to reach this point in his career and thoroughly deserves the rewards that a Principal position brings.įrom a completely selfish point of view, this will be a huge loss to the Largs Bay School community. This is a credit to Bob’s skills, abilities and experience and I would like to congratulate him on winning the position. The position commences on the first day of next Term!!!
It was officially announced earlier today that Bob had won the Principal position at LeFevre Peninsula Primary School. It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Mr Bob Bowden will be leaving us today.
While this term has returned to some form of normality, we continue to do things a little differently and I have no doubt that next term will bring new challenges, all of which we will embrace and learn from. The children have worked extremely hard throughout the term and our staff have continued to work tirelessly to support all our students. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our school community for the ongoing support and encouragement that we receive regularly. Welcome to our final newsletter for the term.
